So I'm gonna put this as a race report because a couple of other kids and I raced it. Just a flat 6 mile run. Did a short warm up and 2 strideouts and they I lined up. Me and Joe got off to a pretty fast start. We settled in at a good pace at about 1.5 miles. I was feeling really good and started to get a lead by mile 2. Around mile 3 I was at a comfortable 5:40 mile pace. On the way back for the last 3 miles I was telling everybody good job and I was feeling really strong. With about a mile left I tried picking up the pace even more. I really was hoping to break 34 minutes and with a half mile left, I could tell that it was going to be close, so I picked it up even more. I ran strong all the way through the line but I ended up getting 34:04. I felt great physically and didn't even feel winded! Shout out to Hayden for running as fast as he did despite his injury. He killed it today. Shout out to Don with the wack username. Pron8r. hahahaha. Got and afternoon run. Heat of the day!

pm: Did 3.5 miles in the heat. I wasn't feeling like I had a ton of energy for I still felt alright. I stopped a few times under shaded areas to get a quick breather. I averaged about a 6:45 the whole time. I hope I feel well recovered by tomorrow because Don says we have a pretty good track workout that we are gonna do. I'm excited for that. I'm gonna kill it. Gonna go to Crystal Hotsprings in a bit. Hopefully that doesn't suck away my energy.
